तन तपता है, मन तपता है
धरती और गगन तपता है
झुलसा देने वाली गर्मी से
हाय! नदी वन ये तपता है।
चेहरे को धूप सुखाती है
और प्यास गले सुखाती है
तड़प रहे हैं पशु और पक्षी
जब -जब भी गर्मी आती है।
करे न मन पीने खाने को
और कहीं न आने जाने को
दिल करता है रहें AC में
और ठंडे पानी से नहाने को।
लस्सी दही की होती भरमार
आइसक्रीम से सबको प्यार
गर्मी से थोड़ी राहत मिलती
खाने को ललचे जी बार-बार।
ज़ुल्म गर्मी का बढ़ता ही जाये
इसकी तपन अब खूब सताये
सही ना जाए ‘दीप’ मौसम ये
प्रभु बारिश हो, ये सभी मनायें।

गर्मी
प्रकृति जहाँ अपने साथ खुशहाली लाती है वहीं दूसरी ओर प्रकोप भी लाती है। सर्दी और बारिश के कहर के साथ साथ तथा सामान्य जन-जीवन के साथ साथ पेड़ पौधे, नदियों को भी प्रभावित करता है। जिससे हर तरफ ज़ुल्म गर्मी का देखने को मिलता है।
ईश्वर ने सारी सृष्टि को मनुष्य ही नहीं बल्कि जीव, जंतु, पेड़, पौधे, पहाड़, नदी, सागर, झरने, ग्रह, नक्षत्र और भी बहुत कुछ के अनुकूल बनाया है। इसलिए हमें मौसम में कई तरह के बदलाव देखने को मिलते हैं, कभी सर्दी तो कभी बारिश। इन तीनों ही मौसम में प्रकृति का हमें अलग अलग रूप देखने को मिलता है। किन्तु किन्हीं कारणों से प्रकृति के इस बदलाव में किंचित मात्र भी इंसानों की दखलंदाजी होती है तो प्रकृति भी अपना विध्वंसकारी प्रभाव दिखलाती है।
इस मौसम में साल में चार महीने के लिए हाहाकार मच जाता है, जिसमें हर आदमी इसके प्रकोप से लाचार, हताश, परेशान और दुःखी हो जाता है, लेकिन जैसे ही उसे किसी भी प्रकार से शरीर को थोड़ी सी भी राहत मिलती है, वो वैसे ही खुद को बहुत सुखी पाता है। कारण सिर्फ एक है इस मौसम की चिलचिलाती धूप से बढ़ने वाली उष्णता। जिससे हर किसी का सामान्य लगने वाला जीवन अत्यंत दुष्कर हो जाता है।

The body burns, the mind burns
The earth and the sky burn
With the scorching heat
Alas! The river and the forest burn.
The sun dries the face
And thirst dries the throat
Animals and birds are suffering
Whenever summer comes.
Don’t feel like drinking and eating
And don’t want to go anywhere
The heart wants to stay in AC
And take a bath with cold water.
There is a lot of lassi and curd
Everyone loves ice cream
Gives some relief from the heat
I feel tempted to eat again and again.
The oppression of the heat keeps on increasing
Its heat torments a lot now
‘Deep’ the heat can’t be tolerated now
Prabhu, let it rain, let’s all pray.
Summer
While nature brings happiness, it also brings wrath. Along with the havoc of winter and rain, it affects trees, plants and rivers along with the normal life of people. Due to which the tyranny of summer is seen everywhere.
God has made the whole world suitable not only for humans but also for animals, trees, plants, mountains, rivers, oceans, waterfalls, planets, stars and many more. That is why we get to see many types of changes in the weather, sometimes winter and sometimes rain. We get to see different forms of nature in all these three seasons. But if due to some reasons there is even a slight interference of humans in this change of nature, then nature also shows its destructive effect.
This season creates havoc for four months in a year, in which every person becomes helpless, frustrated, troubled and sad due to its fury, but as soon as he gets a little relief to his body in any way, he finds himself very happy. The reason is only one, the heat increasing due to the scorching sun of this season. Due to which everyone’s normal life becomes extremely difficult.
