बहुत समय पहले, एक सुंदर और घना जंगल था – नैसर्ग वन। वहाँ सभी जानवर बड़ी शांति से रहते थे, लेकिन कुछ समस्याएँ बढ़ने लगी थीं। शेर बिना वजह शिकार करता, बंदर दूसरों का खाना चुरा लेते और हाथी जब चाहे पानी रोक देता। धीरे-धीरे, जंगल में अराजकता फैलने लगी।
एक दिन बूढ़ा उल्लू बोला –
“अगर सब कुछ ऐसे ही चलता रहा, तो धीरे-धीरे सारा जंगल खत्म हो जाएगा। हमें कोई नियम बनाने होंगे!”
सभी जानवर इकट्ठा हुए। जंगल की सबसे ऊँची चट्टान पर एक बड़ी बैठक बुलाई गई — जिसका नाम रखा गया:
“जंगल की अदालत”
⚖️ अदालत का गठन
सभी जानवरों ने मिलकर एक न्याय समिति बनाई:
- उल्लू – न्यायधीश
- हाथी – सुरक्षा प्रमुख
- हिरण – पर्यावरण प्रतिनिधि
- तोता – सूचनाकर्ता
- कछुआ – शांति दूत
पहला सवाल आया:
“क्या हमें जंगल में कुछ नियम बनाने चाहिए?”
सभी जानवरों ने एकस्वर से हां में सिर हिलाया।
📜 नियमों का निर्माण
बहस और सुझावों के बाद, पाँच मुख्य नियम तय किए गए:
- कोई भी जानवर बिना वजह किसी को नुकसान नहीं पहुँचाएगा।
- पानी और भोजन सभी के लिए साझा होगा।
- हर जानवर हफ्ते में एक दिन दूसरों की मदद करेगा।
- पेड़-पौधों को नुकसान नहीं पहुँचाया जाएगा।
- कोई भी जानवर किसी पर शासन नहीं करेगा।
इन नियमों को “जंगल का संविधान” कहा गया।
🐾 एकता की परीक्षा
कुछ दिनों बाद, एक लोमड़ी ने जंगल के नियम तोड़े। उसने चिड़ियों के अंडे चुरा लिए। मामला “जंगल की अदालत” में पहुँचा।
उल्लू ने सबूत मांगे। तोता गवाह बना। लोमड़ी ने गलती मानी।
उसे सज़ा नहीं, समझदारी की शिक्षा दी गई —
उसे एक महीने तक चिड़ियों की मदद करनी पड़ी।
🌿 नया अध्याय
धीरे-धीरे, जंगल में अनुशासन लौट आया। शेर अब छोटे जानवरों की रक्षा करने लगा, हाथी ने पानी का बंटवारा व्यवस्थित किया, और बंदर अब फल बाँटने लगे।
“जंगल की अदालत” हर महीने लगती, जहाँ सब अपनी बात खुलकर रखते।

Moral teaching story for children
Long ago, there was a beautiful and dense forest – Natural Forest. All the animals lived there very peacefully, but some problems started increasing. The lion would hunt without reason, the monkeys would steal others’ food and the elephant would stop the water whenever he wanted. Gradually, chaos started spreading in the forest.
One day the old owl said –
“If everything continues like this, then gradually the whole forest will be destroyed. We have to make some rules!”
All the animals gathered. A big meeting was called on the highest rock in the jungle — it was named:
“Jungle Ki Adalat”
⚖️ Formation of the Court
All the animals together formed a justice committee:
Owl – Judge
Elephant – Security Head
Deer – Environment Representative
Parrot – Informer
Tortoise – Peace Ambassador
The first question came:
“Should we make some rules in the jungle?”
All the animals nodded yes in unison.
📜 Making of Rules
After debate and suggestions, five main rules were decided:
No animal will harm anyone without reason.
Water and food will be shared for all.
Every animal will help others one day a week.
Tree plants will not be harmed.
No animal will rule over anyone.
These rules were called the “Constitution of the Jungle”.
🐾 Test of Unity
A few days later, a fox broke the rules of the jungle. He stole the birds’ eggs. The matter reached the “Jungle Court”.
The owl asked for evidence. The parrot became a witness. The fox admitted his mistake.
He was not punished, but taught wisdom – he had to help the birds for a month.
🌿 New Chapter
Gradually, discipline returned to the jungle. The lion now started protecting small animals, the elephant organized the distribution of water, and the monkeys now started sharing fruits.
The “Jungle Court” was held every month, where everyone expressed their views openly.
🌟 Moral of the Story:
When everyone makes and follows rules together, any society or jungle can become safe, peaceful and happy.

शेर अपनी ताकत के बल पर जो चाहे कर लेता। बंदर दूसरों का खाना छीनते। हाथी कभी पानी के छोटे पोखरों को अपने लिए घेर लेते। चिड़ियाँ शिकायत करतीं कि उनके घोंसले तोड़े जा रहे हैं, मगर कोई सुनवाई नहीं थी।
जंगल में अराजकता फैल चुकी थी। कमजोर जानवर डरे रहते, और ताकतवर मनमानी करते।
एक बूढ़े उल्लू की सलाह
एक रात, पुराने बरगद पर बैठे बूढ़े उल्लू ने सब देखा। वह जंगल का सबसे बुद्धिमान प्राणी माना जाता था। उसने गहराई से सोचते हुए कहा:
“अगर जंगल को बचाना है, तो अब समय आ गया है कि जानवर मिलकर कुछ नियम बनाएं।”
अगले दिन उसने सब जानवरों को आमंत्रित किया। सब एक जगह जमा हुए। शेर, जो अब भी खुद को राजा मानता था, थोड़ा नाराज़ था कि किसी और ने सभा बुलाई है, लेकिन उसने भी महसूस किया कि अब जंगल का संतुलन बिगड़ रहा है।
जंगल की अदालत का गठन
बूढ़े उल्लू ने प्रस्ताव रखा —
“हमें मिलकर एक ‘जंगल की अदालत’ बनानी चाहिए, जहाँ सभी जानवर अपनी बात रख सकें, और जहां न्याय हो, चाहे वो छोटा हो या बड़ा।”
सभी जानवरों ने यह प्रस्ताव स्वीकार कर लिया।
एक समिति बनाई गई:
उल्लू – मुख्य न्यायधीश (Chief Judge)
हाथी – व्यवस्था प्रमुख (Discipline Head)
हिरण – पर्यावरण प्रतिनिधि
तोता – सूचना प्रसारक
कछुआ – शांति दूत
सिंह (शेर) – विशेष सलाहकार, पर बिना किसी अधिकार के
जंगल के नियम बनाने की प्रक्रिया
जानवरों ने मिलकर कई घंटों तक चर्चा की — कौन से नियम जरूरी हैं? कौन-सी बातें सबके लिए समान होनी चाहिए?
बहस के बाद 5 मुख्य नियम बनाए गए:
कोई भी जानवर किसी अन्य प्राणी को बिना कारण हानि नहीं पहुँचाएगा।
पानी और भोजन के सभी स्रोत साझा होंगे।
हर जानवर को अपनी बात कहने का समान अधिकार होगा।
हर हफ्ते एक दिन “मिलन दिवस” होगा, जहाँ जानवर एक-दूसरे की मदद करेंगे।
पेड़-पौधों और पर्यावरण की रक्षा की जाएगी — कोई भी वृक्ष अनावश्यक नहीं काटा जाएगा।
इन नियमों को जंगल की अदालत में एक “वन-संविधान” के रूप में घोषित किया गया।
पहला मामला – लोमड़ी की चालाकी
एक दिन, तोते ने रिपोर्ट दी कि लोमड़ी ने एक गिलहरी के बच्चे को डराकर उसका खाना छीन लिया।
यह “नए नियमों” का उल्लंघन था।
लोमड़ी को अदालत में बुलाया गया। सभी जानवर वहाँ मौजूद थे। गिलहरी ने डरी-डरी आवाज़ में बताया:
“मैंने कुछ अखरोट जमा किए थे सर्दियों के लिए, लेकिन लोमड़ी ने उन्हें छीन लिया…”
लोमड़ी ने सफाई दी कि उसने सिर्फ मज़ाक किया था।
बूढ़े उल्लू ने गंभीर स्वर में कहा:
“मज़ाक भी तब तक सही है जब तक वो किसी को नुकसान न पहुँचाए।”
अदालत ने लोमड़ी को माफ़ी माँगने और गिलहरी की सहायता करने का आदेश दिया — उसे हफ्ते भर गिलहरी को खाना इकट्ठा कर देना था।
जंगल में बदलाव
समय बीतता गया।
अब जंगल बदलने लगा था। जानवर नियमों का पालन करने लगे।
शेर अब शिकार से पहले अनुमति लेता।
बंदर अब बच्चों को फल खिलाते थे।
हाथी ने एक जल वितरण योजना बनाई।
तोता अब रोज़ शाम को “वन समाचार” सुनाता, जहाँ बताया जाता कि जंगल में क्या हुआ।
“मिलन दिवस” पर सब जानवर मिलते, बातें करते, और खेलते। अब डर नहीं था, भरोसा था।
नई पीढ़ी और नया आदर्श
बच्चे — जैसे खरगोशों के बच्चे, लोमड़ी के शावक, हिरण के फawns — अब इस नए जंगल में खेलते हुए बड़े हो रहे थे।
वे जानते थे कि जंगल में कोई राजा नहीं, नियम हैं।
न्याय सभी के लिए समान है।
एक दिन एक छोटे खरगोश ने बूढ़े उल्लू से पूछा:
“क्या हमेशा ऐसा ही जंगल था?”
उल्लू मुस्कराया और बोला:
“नहीं बच्चा, कभी ये जंगल डर से भरा था, लेकिन जब जानवरों ने मिलकर सोचा, समझा और नियम बनाए – तभी यह जंगल वास्तव में जंगल बना, न कि जंगलराज।”
शिक्षा (Moral of the Story):
न्याय तब आता है जब सबकी आवाज़ सुनी जाती है।
जब हर कोई नियमों को मानता है, तो समाज सुरक्षित और खुशहाल बनता है।
ताकतवर होना गलत नहीं, लेकिन उसका इस्तेमाल सही दिशा में होना चाहिए।
बच्चों को नियमों और समानता की शिक्षा छोटी उम्र से देना ज़रूरी है।
TRANSLATION INTO ENGLISH LANGUAGE
A long time ago, there was a huge and lush forest – “Natural Forest”. All kinds of animals lived there: lions, elephants, deer, monkeys, foxes, rabbits, owls, and many other species. There was peace in the forest at first, but with time, quarrels and injustice began to increase.
The lion used to do whatever he wanted by force. The monkeys would snatch food from others. The elephants would sometimes encroach on small puddles of water for themselves. The birds would complain that their nests were being destroyed, but no one would listen.
Anarchy had spread in the forest. The weak animals were afraid, and the strong ones did as they pleased.
Advice of an old owl
One night, the old owl, sitting on an old banyan tree, saw everything. He was considered the wisest creature in the forest. He thought deeply and said:
“If the forest is to be saved, now is the time for the animals to come together and make some rules.”
The next day he invited all the animals. Everyone gathered at one place. The lion, who still considered himself the king, was a little annoyed that someone else had called the meeting, but he also realized that the balance of the jungle was now being disturbed.
Formation of the Jungle Court
The old owl proposed —
“We should together form a ‘Jungle Court’, where all animals can put forward their views, and where justice is done, whether small or big.”
All the animals accepted this proposal.
A committee was formed:
Owl – Chief Judge
Elephant – Discipline Head
Deer – Environmental Representative
Parrot – Information Disseminator
Tortoise – Peace Messenger
Lion – Special Advisor, but without any authority
Process of making rules of the jungle
The animals discussed together for several hours — which rules are necessary? Which things should be the same for everyone?
After the discussion, 5 main rules were made:
No animal will harm any other creature without reason.
All sources of water and food would be shared.
Every animal would have equal rights to express itself.
One day every week would be a “meeting day”, where animals would help each other.
Plants and the environment would be protected – no tree would be cut down unnecessarily.
These rules were declared as a “forest constitution” in the forest court.
The first case – the fox’s cunning
One day, the parrot reported that the fox frightened a baby squirrel and took away its food.
This was a violation of the “new rules”.
The fox was called to the court. All the animals were present. The squirrel said in a frightened voice:
“I had stored some walnuts for the winter, but the fox took them away…”
The fox explained that he was just joking.
The old owl said in a serious tone:
“Even a joke is okay as long as it does not harm anyone.”
The court ordered the fox to apologize and help the squirrel — he had to provide the squirrel with food for a week.
Changes in the jungle
Time passed.
The jungle was changing. The animals started following the rules.
The lion now asked permission before hunting.
The monkeys now fed the children with fruits.
The elephant created a water distribution scheme.
The parrot now told the “Van Samachar” every evening, which told what happened in the jungle.
On “Meeting Day” all the animals met, talked, and played. There was no fear now, there was trust.
A new generation and a new ideal
Children — like baby rabbits, fox cubs, fawns — were growing up playing in this new jungle.
They knew that there were no kings in the jungle, there were rules.
Justice was equal for all.
One day a little rabbit asked the old owl:
“Was the jungle always like this?”
The owl smiled and said:
“No child, once this jungle was full of fear, but when the animals thought together, understood and made rules – only then this jungle became a true jungle, not a jungle raj.”
Moral of the Story:
Justice comes when everyone’s voice is heard.
When everyone follows the rules, society becomes safe and prosperous.
It is not wrong to be powerful, but it should be used in the right direction.
It is important to teach children about rules and equality from a young age.
