गोवर्धन पूजा का आया ये त्योहार
माँ धरती ने किया यहां अद्भुत श्रृंगार
उत्सव अन्नकूट से हो रही खुशी अपार
आओ मिलकर मनाएं हम सब त्योहार
श्रीकृष्ण जब ये बांसुरी मधुर बजाएंगे
गोप गोपियां बनकर हम आनंद उठाएंगे
नहीं किसी से भी लजाएंगे न ही शर्माएंगे
ये दृश्य देख के देवी देवता धरा पे आयेंगे
अंगना में है ढोल बजे मन में भक्ति छाई
गीत गा कर दे रहीं बहनें सबको ये बधाई
पूजा के थाल सजे हैं गोबर से हुई लिपाई
हाथ जोड़ कर गौमाता को तिलक लगाई
प्रेम का संकल्प है पूजा ये गोवर्धन की
भक्ति में विश्वास और आत्मसमर्पण की
उच्च आदर्शों वाले कर्म सत्कार वंदन की
यही प्रबल इच्छा है कृष्ण देवकी नंदन की
गौसेवा से पुण्य मिलेगा हरियाली आयेगी
धरती कुसुमित होकर झूमेगी मुस्कुराएगी
गोवर्धन का संदेश हरेक जिह्वा दोहराएगी
‘दीप’ सेवा से इनकी सृष्टि भी सुख पाएगी

गोवर्धन पूजा
गोवर्धन पूजा, जिसे अन्नकूट या गोवर्धन प्रतिमा भी कहा जाता है, ये पूजा भगवान श्री कृष्ण के प्रति श्रद्धा और भक्ति का प्रतीक है। कार्तिक मास की शुक्ल प्रतिपदा में मनाया जाने वाला ये पर्व विशेष रूप से हिंदू धर्म के महत्वपूर्ण त्योहारों में से एक है, इसे बड़ी धूम धाम से मनाया जाता है।
मनाने का कारण
दीवाली के अगले दिन मनाया जाने वाला ये त्योहार, मुख्य रूप से भगवान श्री कृष्ण जी की की कथा से जुड़ी हुई है। एक बार जब देवराज इन्द्र गोकुलवासियों से नाराज़ हो गए और मूसलाधार बारिश करके समस्त गोकुलवासियों को दंडित करने का निर्णय लिया, तब भगवान कृष्ण ने अपनी छोटी अंगुली पर पूरे गोवर्धन पर्वत उठा लिया। सभी गोकुलवासी गोवर्धन की छत्रछाया में सुरक्षित हो गए, इधर इन्द्र देव अपनी शक्ति का प्रदर्शन करते हुए कई दिनों तक मूसलाधार बारिश करते रहे, भयंकर ओले बरसाए पर किसी का कोई भी नुक्सान नहीं हुआ।अभिमान के वशीभूत इन्द्रदेव को बाद में अहसास हुआ कि उनकी गलती थी। इस घटना के बाद, गोकुलवासियों ने भगवान श्री कृष्ण की पूजा की और गोवर्धन पर्वत की आराधना की।
तभी से लगातार आज तक लोग इसे बड़ी धूम धाम से मनाते चले आ रहे हैं, इस दिन लोग सुबह जल्दी उठ कर स्नान करके साफ-सुथरे कपड़े पहनते हैं। घरों में और घरों के बाहर मिट्टी, गोबर या चावल से पर्वत की आकृति बनाई जाती है और पूजा की जाती है। मिठाइयों, फल, और अन्न का भोग भी भगवान को लगाया जाता है। इसे ‘अन्नकूट’ भी कहा जाता है।
समाज में प्रेम, एकता और समर्पण का संदेश देने वाला ये त्योहार भगवान श्री कृष्ण जी की भक्ति का भी द्योतक है। इसमें सम्मलित होने वाले सभी लोग आनंद और खुशियों के साथ साथ नृत्य एवं गीत भी गाते हैं। ये त्योहार, हमें अपने संस्कृति और परंपराओं की याद दिलाता है और जीवन में सकारात्मकता का संचार करता है।
इसका महत्व न केवल धार्मिक है, बल्कि यह सामाजिक और सांस्कृतिक दृष्टिकोण से भी बेहद महत्वपूर्ण है।

When Shri Krishna will play this sweet flute
We will enjoy by becoming Gopas and Gopis
We will neither be ashamed of anyone nor shy
Gods and goddesses will come to earth after seeing this scene
Drums are playing in the courtyard, devotion is in the heart
Sisters are singing songs and congratulating everyone
Pooja plates are decorated and smeared with cow dung
With folded hands, tilak was applied to mother cow
This worship of Govardhan is a resolution of love
Belief in devotion and self-surrender
Deeds with high ideals, respect and worship
This is the ardent desire of Krishna Devaki Nandan
Cow service will bring virtue, greenery will come
The earth will blossom and dance and smile
Every tongue will repeat the message of Govardhan
The world will also find happiness by serving ‘Deep’
Govardhan Puja
Govardhan Puja, also known as Annakoot or Govardhan Pratima, is a symbol of reverence and devotion towards Lord Shri Krishna. This festival, celebrated on Shukla Pratipada of Kartik month, is one of the important festivals of Hinduism, it is celebrated with great pomp and show.
Reason for celebration
This festival, celebrated the next day of Diwali, is mainly associated with the story of Lord Shri Krishna. Once when Devraj Indra got angry with the people of Gokul and decided to punish all the people of Gokul by raining heavily, then Lord Krishna lifted the entire Govardhan mountain on his little finger. All the people of Gokul became safe under the umbrella of Govardhan, on the other hand, Indra Dev, demonstrating his power, kept raining heavily for several days, caused heavy hailstorms but no one was harmed. Indra Dev, overcome by pride, later realized that it was his mistake. After this incident, the people of Gokul worshiped Lord Krishna and worshipped the Govardhan mountain.
Since then, people have been celebrating it with great pomp and show. On this day, people wake up early in the morning, take a bath and wear clean clothes. A mountain shape is made from mud, cow dung or rice in and outside the houses and is worshipped. Sweets, fruits, and food are also offered to God. It is also called ‘Annakoot’.
This festival, which gives the message of love, unity and dedication in the society, also signifies devotion to Lord Krishna. All the people participating in it dance and sing songs along with joy and happiness. This festival reminds us of our culture and traditions and infuses positivity in life.
Its importance is not only religious, but it is also very important from the social and cultural point of view.
