घोंप कर खंज़र लोग हँसते मुस्कुराते हैं
तरीका दोस्ती का बड़े अदब से निभाते हैं।
उम्मीदों के आशियाने बिखरे तूफ़ानों में
जिन हौसलों पे चलकर ज़िन्दगी सजाते हैं।
महल रेंत पर भला कब तलक टिकी है
नासमझ हर रोज शौक़ से बनाते गिराते हैं।
गमज़दा हर शक्श तलाश में दर-बदर
खुशियाँ सबसे बांटते अपनों से छिपाते हैं।
उनकी शिकायतों में नाम-ओ-निशां नहीं
बेरहम ख़्वाहिशें वहाँ पैरों तले रौंदे जाते हैं।
मेरा भरम खुद पे था अपनी झूठी शान में
अफ़साने वही नाकामयाबी पर दुहराते हैं।
शिकायत प्रभु से खुदगर्ज़ की तर्ज पे लोग
हँस कर ‘दीप’ महफ़िलों में गाते सुनाते हैं।
झूठी शान
झूठी शान और हकीकत का फ़ासला दोनों ही अवधारणाएँ अपने-अपने तरीके से जीवन के विभिन्न पहलुओं को दर्शाती हैं, लेकिन इन दोनों के बीच का फर्क बहुत गहरा है, इस कविता में यह बताने का प्रयास किया गया है कि व्यक्ति जो दिखता है ज़रूरी नहीं है कि वो व्यक्ति अन्दर से भी वैसा ही हो। अक्सर ये देखने को मिलता है कि लोग झूठी शान का दिखावा करते हैं और अपने जीवन को वैसा ही प्रदर्शित करते हैं।
- झूठी शान: इसका मतलब यह है कि खुद को या अपनी स्थिति को जो हक़ीक़त में वैसी है नहीं और अधिक महत्वपूर्ण और महान दिखाने की कोशिश, जबकि असलियत में वह स्थिति वैसी है ही नहीं। यह एक प्रकार का छल है, दिखावा है, जो बाहरी दुनिया को प्रभावित करने तथा दूसरों के जीवन पर गहरा प्रभाव छोड़ने या डालने के लिए किया जाता है। इसमें अक्सर खुद को ज्यादा श्रेष्ठ दिखाने की कोशिश की जाती है, भले ही अंदर से व्यक्ति खुद को असुरक्षित या नाकामयाब महसूस कर रहा हो। झूठी चीजें इंसान को जल्दी प्रभावित करती हैं, जिस झूठी शान में व्यक्ति आज का जी रहा है वो अत्यंत दुःखद है।
- हकीकत का फ़ासला: यह असलियत और हमारे आत्म-निर्मित भ्रम के बीच का बहुत बड़ा अंतर है। हकीकत में ये वो स्थिति है, जो सच में होती है, जबकि फ़ासला इस बात को दर्शाता है कि हमारी उम्मीदें, भ्रम या समाज द्वारा बनाये गए आदर्शों के कारण हमें अपनी असलियत से बहुत दूर होना पड़ता है। यह उस अंतर को दिखाता है जो व्यक्ति अपने वास्तविक अनुभव और समाज की अपेक्षाओं के बीच महसूस करता है।
फर्क/अन्तर: झूठी शान एक आत्म-निर्मित छवि है, जबकि हकीकत का फ़ासला असलियत में स्थिति है और यही हमारे आदर्शों के बीच का सही अंतर है। झूठी शान में हम खुद को बढ़ा-चढ़ा कर दिखाते हैं, जबकि हकीकत का फ़ासला उस सच्चाई को दिखाता है, जो हम खुद से या समाज से छिपाते हैं।

People laugh and smile after stabbing the dagger
They follow the way of friendship with great respect.
The houses of hope are scattered in the storms
On the basis of courage they decorate their lives.
How long can a palace stand on sand
The foolish build and destroy it with pleasure every day.
Every sad person wanders here and there in search
They share their happiness with everyone and hide it from their loved ones.
There is no trace in their complaints
The ruthless desires are trampled under the feet there.
I had a delusion in myself in my false pride
They repeat the same stories on failure.
On the lines of selfishness, people complain to God
Laughingly sing ‘Deep’ in the gatherings.
False pride
False pride and the distance of reality, both concepts depict different aspects of life in their own way, but the difference between these two is very deep, in this poem an attempt has been made to tell that it is not necessary that the person is the same from inside as he appears. It is often seen that people show false pride and display their life accordingly.
False pride: It means trying to make oneself or one’s situation look more important and great than it really is, while in reality that situation is not like that at all. This is a kind of deception, pretense, which is done to impress the outside world and to leave or make a deep impact on the lives of others. In this, an attempt is often made to show oneself as superior, even if the person is feeling insecure or unsuccessful from inside. False things affect a person quickly, the false pride in which the person is living today is very sad.
Reality gap: It is the huge difference between reality and our self-created illusion. Reality gap is the situation as it really is, while gap shows that our expectations, illusions or ideals created by society cause us to be far away from our reality. It shows the difference that a person feels between his real experience and the expectations of society.
Difference: False pride is a self-created image, while reality gap is the situation in reality and is the true difference between our ideals. In false pride we exaggerate ourselves, while reality gap shows the truth that we hide from ourselves or society.
