जादुई चश्मा
स्नेहपुर गाँव में एक लड़का रहता था – अर्जुन। वह बड़ा ही जिज्ञासु और शांत स्वभाव का था। अर्जुन का सबसे बड़ा सवाल यही था –
“लोग जो बोलते हैं, क्या वो सच बोलते हैं?”
कभी-कभी वह सोचता कि कोई मुस्कुरा क्यों रहा है? क्या वो सच में खुश है? कोई गुस्से में क्यों है? क्या वो दुखी है?
इन सवालों का कोई जवाब उसके पास नहीं था।
🧓 मेला और जादुई बूढ़ा
एक दिन गाँव में मेला लगा। झूले, मिठाइयाँ और खिलौनों के बीच अर्जुन की नज़र एक बूढ़े बाबा की छोटी-सी दुकान पर पड़ी। वहाँ एक बोर्ड लगा था –
“ऐसा चश्मा, जो दिखाए दिल की सच्चाई!”
अर्जुन उत्सुकता से उछलता कूदता हुआ उनके पास गया और बाबा से पूछा,
“बाबा, ये क्या है?”
बाबा मुस्कराए, बोले,
“ये जादुई चश्मा है बेटा। इसे पहनोगे तो लोगों के मन की बातें दिखेंगी – वो जो वो छिपाते हैं, वो जो सच में महसूस करते हैं। लेकिन याद रखो, हर सच्चाई मीठी नहीं होती।”
अर्जुन को वह चश्मा बहुत दिलचस्प लगा। उसने झिझकते हुए ले लिया।
👀 पहली बार चश्मा पहनना
जैसे ही अर्जुन ने चश्मा पहना, उसे झटका लगा! लोग अब जैसे बदल गए थे। कोई बाहर से हँस रहा था लेकिन उसके दिल में अंधेरा था। किसी की आँखें चमक रही थीं लेकिन दिल डरा हुआ था।
सबसे पहले अर्जुन ने अपने दोस्त राहुल को देखा। राहुल हमेशा हँसता रहता था, सबका चहेता था। लेकिन चश्मे से देखा तो उसके दिल में उदासी थी, अकेलापन था।
अर्जुन को हैरानी हुई। उसने राहुल से धीरे-धीरे बात की, समझाया। तब राहुल ने बताया –
“माँ-बाप घर पर रोज़ लड़ते हैं, मैं बहुत दुखी रहता हूँ। स्कूल में हँसता हूँ ताकि कोई मुझसे मेरी मुश्किलें पूछे नहीं।”
अर्जुन को समझ आया –
“हर मुस्कान सच्ची नहीं होती।”
🧑🏫 सख़्त टीचर का नरम दिल
फिर एक दिन अर्जुन ने अपने गणित टीचर, श्री वर्मा को देखा। सभी बच्चे उन्हें कठोर, गुस्सैल समझते थे।
लेकिन जादुई चश्मा तो कुछ और ही दिखा रहा था –
उनके दिल में बच्चों के लिए स्नेह था, प्यार था। वे सोचते थे, “अगर मैं ज़्यादा नरम हो जाऊँ तो बच्चे पढ़ाई में ढीलाई कर देंगे।”
अर्जुन की सोच बदल गई। अब उसे अपने टीचर की डाँट बुरी नहीं लगती थी।
👧 रूपा की जलन
अर्जुन की कक्षा में एक लड़की थी – रूपा। वो हमेशा अर्जुन से जलती थी, उसकी आलोचना भी करती थी।
एक दिन अर्जुन ने उसे चश्मे से देखा –
रूपा के दिल में जलन नहीं, बल्कि हीन भावना थी। वह ख़ुद को दूसरों से कमतर समझती थी, इसलिए वो अक्सर दूसरों को नीचा दिखाने की कोशिश करती थी।
अर्जुन को पहली बार समझ आया कि
“कई बार जो लोग हमें चोट पहुँचाते हैं, वो खुद अंदर से टूटे होते हैं।”
❤️ माँ का सच्चा प्यार
एक दिन माँ ने अर्जुन को ज़ोर से डाँटा। वह नाराज़ होकर कमरे में जा बैठा। फिर उसने सोचा – “चलो, माँ को भी चश्मे से देखता हूँ।”
माँ के चेहरे पर थकावट थी, पर माँ के दिल में तो प्यार का अपार सागर लहरा रहा था। वह चिंतित थी तो केवल इसलिए कि उसका बेटा बुरी संगत में रह कर बिगड़ न जाए।
अर्जुन की आँखें भर आईं। वह दौड़कर गया और माँ से लिपट गया –
“माँ, आप मुझसे बहुत प्यार करती हैं न?”
माँ ने भी उसे कसकर गले लगा लिया और अर्जुन की ओर देखकर, सर हिलाकर हाँ में जवाब दिया।
🌟 अर्जुन का बदलाव
अब अर्जुन का व्यवहार बदलने लगा था। वह हर किसी से बहुत ही विनम्रता से बात करता, समझदारी से जवाब देता। लोगों के गुस्से को अब वह दर्द समझता, और किसी की चुप्पी में छिपा अकेलापन महसूस करता।
गाँव में सभी कहते –
“अर्जुन अब बड़ा समझदार हो गया है!”
लेकिन अर्जुन जानता था –
“समझदारी तो तब आई जब मैंने देखना सीखा – दिल से।”
🎁 अंतिम दृश्य – चश्मा लौटाना
कुछ महीने बाद अर्जुन फिर उसी मेले में गया। बूढ़े बाबा अब भी वहीं थे। अर्जुन ने चश्मा वापस करते हुए कहा –
“अब मुझे इसकी ज़रूरत नहीं बाबा। अब मैं बिना चश्मे के भी दिल से देख सकता हूँ।”
बाबा हँसे और बोले –
“जिसने दिल से देखा, उसे चश्मे की ज़रूरत नहीं। यही इस चश्मे का असली जादू था।”
📚 सीख (Moral of the Story):
- हर मुस्कुराता चेहरा खुश नहीं होता।
- जो कठोर दिखते हैं, अंदर से सबसे कोमल हो सकते हैं।
- जलन के पीछे दर्द हो सकता है, और चुप्पी के पीछे अकेलापन।
- जब हम लोगों को दिल से देखना शुरू करते हैं, तभी असली रिश्ते बनते हैं।

There lived a boy in Snehpur village – Arjun. He was very curious and calm by nature. Arjun’s biggest question was –
“What people say, are they speaking the truth?”
Sometimes he used to wonder why someone is smiling? Is he really happy? Why is someone angry? Is he sad?
He had no answer to these questions.
🧓 Fair and the Magical Old Man
One day a fair was held in the village. Amidst the swings, sweets and toys, Arjun’s eyes fell on a small shop of an old man. There was a board –
“Such glasses, which show the truth of the heart!”
Arjun went to him jumping and skipping with excitement and asked Baba,
“Baba, what is this?”
Baba smiled and said,
“These are magical glasses son. If you wear these, you will be able to see what people think – what they hide, what they really feel. But remember, not every truth is sweet.”
Arjun found those glasses very interesting. He took it hesitantly.
👀 Wearing glasses for the first time
As soon as Arjun wore the glasses, he was shocked! People seemed to have changed now. Some were laughing from outside but there was darkness in their hearts. Some had shining eyes but their hearts were scared.
First of all Arjun saw his friend Rahul. Rahul always used to laugh, he was everyone’s favourite. But when he saw him through his glasses, there was sadness and loneliness in his heart.
Arjun was surprised. He talked to Rahul slowly, explained to him. Then Rahul told –
“My parents fight every day at home, I am very sad. I laugh in school so that no one asks me about my problems.”
Arjun understood –
“Not every smile is true.”
🧑🏫 The soft heart of a strict teacher
Then one day Arjun saw his math teacher, Mr. Verma. All the children considered him strict and angry.
But the magic glasses were showing something else –
He had affection and love for the children in his heart. He used to think, “If I become too soft, the children will become lax in their studies.”
Arjun’s thinking changed. Now he did not feel bad when his teacher scolded him.
👧 Rupa’s jealousy
There was a girl in Arjun’s class – Rupa. She was always jealous of Arjun, she used to criticize him too.
One day Arjun looked at her through the glasses –
Rupa did not have jealousy in her heart, but an inferiority complex. She considered herself inferior to others, so she often tried to belittle others.
Arjun understood for the first time that
“Many times the people who hurt us are themselves broken from inside.”
❤️ Mother’s true love
One day mother scolded Arjun loudly. He got angry and sat in his room. Then he thought – “Let me look at mother through the glasses too.”
There was tiredness on mother’s face, but there was a vast ocean of love in her heart. She was worried only because her son might get spoiled by staying in bad company.
Arjun’s eyes filled up with tears. He ran and hugged his mother –
“Mother, you love me very much, don’t you?”
Mother also hugged him tightly and looking at Arjun, nodded her head and said yes.
🌟 Arjun’s change
Now Arjun’s behavior had started changing. He would talk to everyone very politely, answer sensibly. Now he would understand people’s anger as pain, and would feel the loneliness hidden in someone’s silence.
Everyone in the village would say –
“Arjun has become very wise now!”
But Arjun knew –
“Wisdom came only when I learned to see – from the heart.”
🎁 Last scene – Returning the glasses
After a few months Arjun went to the same fair again. The old man was still there. Arjun returned the glasses and said –
“Now I don’t need these Baba. Now I can see with my heart even without glasses.”
Baba laughed and said –
“The one who saw with his heart, doesn’t need glasses. This was the real magic of these glasses.”
📚 Moral of the Story:
Not every smiling face is happy.
Those who look harsh, can be the softest from inside.
There can be pain behind jealousy, and loneliness behind silence.
When we start seeing people with our heart, only then real relationships are formed.
