शेरू की समझदारी | एक बाल कथा जहाँ चतुराई से बुराई को हराया गया
शेरू की समझदारी” एक मजेदार और शिक्षाप्रद बाल-कहानी है जहाँ जंगल के जानवर मिलकर एक चालाक साँप का मुकाबला करते हैं। यह हिंदी कहानी बच्चों को चतुराई, एकता और नैतिकता की सीख देती है।

🌿 प्रस्तावना: जंगल की शांति
बहुत समय पहले की बात है। घने पेड़ों, रंग-बिरंगे फूलों और मीठे झरनों से भरे एक जंगल में सभी जानवर मिल-जुलकर रहते थे। वहाँ का राजा था शेर “शेरू“— एक बहादुर, न्यायप्रिय और समझदार शेर। उसने जंगल को एक परिवार की तरह चला रखा था।
चाहे कोई छोटा खरगोश हो या बड़ा हाथी, सभी जानवर शेरू से प्यार करते थे। वह सभी की बातें सुनता, समस्याएँ हल करता और कभी किसी को बेवजह परेशान नहीं करता। जंगल में एक नियम था: “सबका आदर, सबकी रक्षा।”
🐍 खतरे की आहट: कालसर्प का आगमन
एक दिन, पहाड़ियों की दूसरी ओर से एक अजीब सी आवाज जंगल में गूँजी — “हिस्स्स्स्स…!”
यह आवाज एक लंबे, काले और डरावने साँप की थी — नाम था “कालसर्प”। वह जहरीला था, लेकिन उससे भी ज्यादा खतरनाक थी उसकी चालाकी। वह न किसी से मिलता, न किसी को चैन से रहने देता।
शुरुआत में वह चुपचाप जंगल के तालाब के पास रहने लगा, लेकिन कुछ ही दिनों में वह पानी पीने आए जानवरों को डराने लगा।
“यह तालाब अब मेरा है!” कालसर्प फुँफकारता,
“जो कोई भी यहाँ आएगा, उसे मैं डँस लूँगा!”
🐒 बंदर मीठू की परेशानी
एक दिन बंदर मीठू का छोटा बेटा पानी पीने गया। वह जैसे ही झुका, कालसर्प फुँफकारा और बोला,
“दूर हट जा, ये मेरा इलाका है!”
मीठू का बेटा डरकर भागा। वह रोता हुआ अपने पापा के पास गया। मीठू परेशान हो गया और भागा-भागा हाथी भोलू के पास पहुँचा।
मीठू:”भोलू भैया, अब तो जंगल में जीना मुश्किल हो गया है। कालसर्प सबको डराता है!”
भोलू: “ये तो बहुत गलत बात है। हमें सभी जानवरों की पंचायत बुलानी होगी।”
🦓 जंगल पंचायत और शेरू से मदद
भोलू ने डुगडुगी बजाई — जंगल का पारंपरिक संदेश।
“डुग डुग डुग डुग…!”
सभी जानवर — खरगोश चंचल, हिरण धीरु, तोता पंखू, लोमड़ी चालाकी और भी कई — बड़ी चट्टान के पास इकट्ठा हुए। भोलू ने सबको समझाया कि कालसर्प से मुकाबला अकेले संभव नहीं, हमें शेरू के पास जाना होगा।
सभी जानवर मिलकर शेरू के दरबार में पहुँचे।
भोलू: “महाराज, जंगल की शांति खतरे में है। कालसर्प ने तालाब पर कब्जा कर लिया है।”
चंचल: “वह बच्चों को डराता है और पीने का पानी भी नहीं देता!”
शेरू ने सबकी बातें ध्यान से सुनी और गंभीरता से बोला:
शेरू: “हम उसे मार भी सकते हैं, लेकिन इससे जंगल में डर और बदले की भावना फैलेगी। हम बुद्धिमानी से इसका हल निकालेंगे।”
🧠 योजना: चंचल की मदद
शेरू ने चंचल खरगोश को बुलाया।
शेरू: “तू जंगल का सबसे तेज़ और चतुर जीव है। क्या तू मेरी एक योजना में मदद करेगा?”
चंचल: “हुक्म कीजिए महाराज, मैं जान भी दे सकता हूँ!”
शेरू मुस्कुराया और कान में एक योजना बताई। चंचल खुशी-खुशी उछलते हुए चला गया। उसने जंगल के पुराने सूखे कुएँ की तरफ रुख किया।
वहाँ उसने एक बोतल में थोड़े पानी और काले रंग का रस मिलाया। वह दिखने में ऐसा लग रहा था जैसे विष हो।
🧪 चतुराई का प्रयोग
दूसरे दिन चंचल तालाब के पास गया, जहाँ कालसर्प आराम कर रहा था।
चंचल: “ओ बड़े नाग! मैंने तुम्हारे जैसे शक्तिशाली साँप को कभी नहीं देखा… लेकिन क्या तुम कुएँ वाले नागराज से भी ताकतवर हो?”
कालसर्प: “कौन नागराज?”
चंचल: “अरे, वह तो बहुत ही भयानक है! जो भी कुएँ में झाँकता है, वो डर के मारे भाग जाता है!”
कालसर्प का अहंकार जाग उठा। उसने कुएँ की तरफ रुख किया।
कुएँ में झाँकते ही उसे अपनी ही परछाई दिखी — लेकिन उसे लगा कोई और विशाल सर्प वहाँ है।
कालसर्प: “मैं तुझे मार डालूँगा!” — यह कहते हुए वह कुएँ में कूद गया।
तभी भोलू और शेरू ने मिलकर कुएँ पर एक भारी पत्थर रख दिया।
कालसर्प अब कुएँ में कैद हो चुका था।
🥳 उत्सव और इनाम
जंगल में चारों ओर खुशी फैल गई।
मीठू ने उछल-उछलकर गाना गाया, पंखू ने अपनी चोंच से ताल दी, और भोलू ने अपनी सूँड से फूल उड़ाए।
शेरू ने सभा बुलाई और कहा:
“इस समस्या का हल बुद्धिमानी से निकाला गया। मैं चंचल को ‘जंगल का मुख्य सलाहकार’ घोषित करता हूँ।”
सभी जानवर तालियाँ बजाने लगे।

इस कहानी से हमें ये महत्वपूर्ण बातें सीखने को मिलती हैं:
- शक्ति से ज्यादा ज़रूरी होती है चतुराई।

🌿 Introduction: The Peace of the Jungle
It was a long time ago. All the animals lived in harmony in a jungle full of dense trees, colourful flowers and sweet waterfalls. The king there was the lion “Sheru” – a brave, just and wise lion. He ran the jungle like a family.
Whether it was a small rabbit or a big elephant, all the animals loved Sheru. He listened to everyone, solved problems and never troubled anyone unnecessarily. There was a rule in the jungle: “Respect everyone, protect everyone.”
🐍 The sound of danger: The arrival of Kaal Sarp
One day, a strange sound echoed in the jungle from the other side of the hills – “Hisssss…!”
This sound was of a long, black and scary snake – his name was “Kaal Sarp”. He was poisonous, but even more dangerous was his cunning. He neither met anyone nor allowed anyone to live in peace.
In the beginning, he started living quietly near the pond in the jungle, but in a few days he started scaring the animals who came to drink water.
“This pond is mine now!” The black snake hissed,
“Whoever comes here, I will bite him!”
🐒 Monkey Mithu’s problem
One day, the younger son of monkey Mithu went to drink water. As soon as he bent down, the black snake hissed and said,
“Go away, this is my territory!”
Mithu’s son ran away in fear. He went to his father crying. Mithu got worried and ran to the elephant Bholu.
Mithu: “Bholu Bhaiya, now it has become difficult to live in the jungle. The black snake scares everyone!”
Bholu: “This is very wrong. We will have to call a panchayat of all the animals.”
🦓 Help from Jungle Panchayat and Sheru
Bholu played the Dugdugi – the traditional message of the jungle.
“Dug Dug Dug Dug…!”
All the animals – Chanchal the rabbit, Dhiru the deer, Pankhu the parrot, Chaluki the fox and many more – gathered near the big rock. Bholu explained to everyone that it is not possible to fight Kalsarp alone, we have to go to Sheru.
All the animals together reached Sheru’s court.
Bholu: “Maharaj, the peace of the jungle is in danger. Kalsarp has taken over the pond.”
Chalchal: “He scares the children and does not even give drinking water!”
Sheru listened to everyone carefully and said seriously:
Sheru: “We can also kill him, but this will spread fear and a feeling of revenge in the jungle. We will find a solution to this wisely.”
🧠 Plan: Help from Chanchal
Sheru called Chanchal the rabbit.
Sheru: “You are the fastest and smartest creature in the forest. Will you help me in a plan?”
Chalchan: “Order me, Maharaj, I can even sacrifice my life!”
Sheru smiled and whispered a plan in his ear. Chanchal happily jumped and went away. He headed towards the old dry well in the forest.
There he mixed some water and black coloured juice in a bottle. It looked like poison.
🧪 Use of cleverness
The next day Chanchal went to the pond, where Kalsarp was resting.
Chalchan: “Oh big snake! I have never seen a powerful snake like you… but are you more powerful than the Nagraj of the well?”
Kalsarp: “Which Nagraj?”
Chalchan: “Hey, he is very scary! Whoever looks into the well, runs away in fear!”
Kalsarp’s ego woke up. He headed towards the well.
As he looked into the well, he saw his own reflection – but he thought there was another huge snake there.
Kaal Sarp: “I will kill you!” – saying this, he jumped into the well.
Just then Bholu and Sheru together placed a heavy stone on the well.
Kaal Sarp was now trapped in the well.
🥳 Celebration and Reward
Joy spread all over the jungle.
Meethu jumped up and down and sang, Pankhu clapped with his beak, and Bholu blew flowers with his trunk.
Sheru called a meeting and said:
“This problem has been solved by wisdom. I declare Chanchal as the ‘Chief Advisor of the Jungle’.”
All the animals started clapping.
🌈 Conclusion: Moral of the Story
We learn these important things from this story:
- Cleverness is more important than strength.
- Problems are solved by understanding, not violence.
- When everyone works together, no problem is big.
- Ego ultimately leads to destruction.
