मूर्खों का न्याय | Murkhon Ka Nyay | Best Story 2025
एक बार की बात है हंस का एक जोड़ा मानसरोवर के बेहद सुन्दर परिवेश एवं वातावरण से भटकते हुए किसी उजड़ी और वीरान जगह पहुँच गया। ख़ुद को काफी सुनसान जगह पर देखकर हंसिनी ने कहा कि पता नहीं हम लोग कहाँ आ गये हैं? यहाँ पर ना तो पानी है और न खाने के लिए भोजन। यहाँ तो हमारा जीना बहुत मुश्किल है।
भटकते-भटकते रात हो गयी थी। इसीलिए हंस ने कहा कि आज की रात तो किसी तरह यहाँ गुजार लो, सुबह होते ही हम वापस अपने घर की ओर लौट चलेंगे। रात गहराई तो जिस वृक्ष के नीचे हंस-हंसिनी विश्राम कर रहे थे। उस पर एक उल्लू भी रहता था। वह अचानक शोर मचाने लगा। हंसिनी ने हंस से कहा, “इस उल्लू के कारण तो मेरा सोना भी मुश्किल हो रहा है।”
हंस ने हंसिनी को समझाया कि आज की रात किसी तरह यहाँ पर काट लो, सुबह होते ही यहाँ से निकल चलेंगे। अब शायद तुम्हें समझ में आ ही गया होगा कि यह स्थान इतना उजाड़ क्यों है। जिस जगह पर मूर्ख उल्लू रहेंगे वह तो वीरान हो ही जायेगा। वृक्ष पर बैठा उल्लू दोनों की बात सुन रहा था। सुबह हुई तो उल्लू हंस के पास आया और कहा, “आपको मेरे कारण रात में जो कष्ट हुआ उसके लिए अत्यन्त क्षमाप्रार्थी हूँ।”
हंस ने उत्तर दिया, “कोई बात नहीं।” इतना कहकर हंस अपनी हंसिनी को लेकर जाने लगा तो पीछे से उल्लू चिल्लाया- ‘आप मेरी पत्नी को लेकर क्यों जा रहे है?’
हंस चौंका और बोला, “अरे भाई हंसिनी तो मेरी पत्नी है। मेरे साथ ही आयी थी। अब हम लोग वापस अपने घर जा रहे हैं।”
उल्लू ने कहा, “तुम झूठ बोल रहे हो, रात में मैंने तुम्हें दयावश विश्राम करने की जगह दी और उसके बदले तुम सुबह होते ही मेरी पत्नी को लेकर जाने लगे।”
दोनों के बीच विवाद काफी बढ़ गया तो पंचायत बैठी। उल्लू और हंस की बातों को सभी ने ध्यान से सुना। फिर पंचायत के सदस्यों ने एकान्त में बैठक की। सभी सदस्यों ने आपस में चर्चा की यह बात तो सत्य प्रतीत होती है कि हंसिनी ही हंस की पत्नी है पर यह कुछ देर बाद यहाँ से चला जायेगा
और हम लोगों को तो उल्लू के साथ ही रहना है इसलिए उसके विरूद्ध निर्णय देकर दुश्मनी मोल लेना उचित नहीं होगा। पंचों ने सर्वसम्मत से निर्णय सुनाया कि हंसिनी उल्लू की पत्नी है। हंस उस निर्णय के कारण कोई गड़बड़ी न करे इसलिए उसे तुरंत यह स्थान छोड़कर जाना होगा।
पंचों का फैसला सुनकर हंस बहुत परेशान और हताश हुआ। काफी चिल्लाया, चीखा परिणाम कुछ नहीं निकला तो रोते हुए लौट चला।
हंस अभी थोड़ी ही दूर गया होगा कि पीछे से उल्लू की आवाज सुनायी पड़ी, “मित्र हंस रूको।”
हंस ने विलाप करते हुए पूछा, “भाई, मेरी हंसिनी को तुमने पहले ही मुझसे छीन लिया, अब क्या बचा है जो उसे भी लेना चाहते हो।”
उल्लू बोला, “नहीं मित्र, हंसिनी आपकी पत्नी है और आपके साथ ही रहेगी। लेकिन रात में जब मैं शोर मचा रहा था तो आपने अपनी पत्नी से यही तो कहा था कि जहाँ उल्लू रहेंगे वह जगह उजाड़ और वीरान ही रहेगी। आपने देखा कि सच यह नहीं है। सच तो यह है कि जहाँ मूर्खों की पंचायतें डर के कारण उल्लूओं के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय सुनाती हैं वहाँ भला सही लोग भी कैसे रह सकते हैं। इस क्षेत्र की बदहाली और दुर्दशा का एकमात्र कारण यही है। आप अपनी पत्नी को यहाँ से ख़ुशी ख़ुशी ले कर जाइये।
इस कहानी से यह शिक्षा मिलती है यदि आप मूर्खों के बीच रहेंगे तो यक़ीनन आपकी सोच और आपका तौर तरीक़ा ठीक बिल्कुल वैसा ही हो जाएगा। इसलिए बड़े बुज़ुर्गों ने कहा भी है हमेशा अच्छे लोगों की संगति में रहना चाहिए। जिससे आपका मन, बुद्धि, विवेक सकारात्मक दृष्टिकोण के साथ सही दिशा में बढ़ पाएगा।

Once upon a time, a pair of swans wandered from the beautiful surroundings of Mansarovar and reached a desolate and deserted place. Seeing themselves in a very desolate place, the female swan said that we don’t know where we have come? There is neither water nor food here. It is very difficult for us to survive here.
Wandering, it became night. That is why the swan said that somehow spend this night here, as soon as it is morning, we will return to our home. As the night deepened, an owl also lived on the tree under which the swans and the female swans were resting. It suddenly started making noise. The female swan said to the swan, “Because of this owl, it is becoming difficult for me to sleep.”
The swan explained to the female swan that somehow spend this night here, as soon as it is morning, we will leave from here. Now perhaps you must have understood why this place is so desolate. The place where foolish owls live will become desolate. The owl sitting on the tree was listening to both of them. When it was morning, the owl came to the swan and said, “I am very sorry for the trouble you had to go through last night because of me.”
The swan replied, “It doesn’t matter.” After saying this, the swan started to leave with his female swan, when the owl shouted from behind – ‘Why are you taking my wife with you?’
The swan was startled and said, “Oh brother, the female swan is my wife. She came with me. Now we are going back to our home.”
The owl said, “You are lying, I gave you a place to rest at night out of kindness and in return you started taking my wife with you as soon as it was morning.”
When the dispute between the two increased, a panchayat was held. Everyone listened carefully to the owl and the swan. Then the members of the panchayat met in solitude. All the members discussed among themselves that it seems true that the female swan is the swan’s wife, but he will leave from here after some time
and we have to live with the owl only, so it would not be right to give a decision against him and invite enmity. The judges unanimously decided that the female swan was the owl’s wife. So that the swan does not create any trouble due to that decision, he will have to leave this place immediately.
On hearing the judges’ decision, the swan became very upset and disappointed. He shouted and screamed a lot, but when nothing came out of it, he returned crying.
The swan must have gone a little far when he heard the owl’s voice from behind, “Friend swan wait.”
The swan lamented and asked, “Brother, you have already taken away my female swan from me, what is left now that you want to take that too.”
The owl said, “No friend, Hansini is your wife and will stay with you. But when I was making noise at night, you had told your wife that the place where owls live will remain desolate and deserted. You saw that this is not true. The truth is that where the Panchayat of fools, out of fear, pronounces its decision in favour of owls, how can good people live there. This is the only reason for the misery and plight of this area. You should happily take your wife away from here.
This story teaches us that if you live among fools, then surely your thinking and your ways will become exactly like that. That is why the elders have also said that one should always stay in the company of good people. So that your mind, intellect, conscience will be able to move in the right direction with a positive attitude.
