नन्हा बीज और बड़ी सोच | Small seeds and big ideas | Best Inspirational Story For Kids 2025
एक समय की बात है। एक खेत में बहुत सारे बीज रखे गए थे। सब बीज आपस में बातें कर रहे थे कि वे कैसे बड़े पेड़ बनेंगे, फल देंगे और दुनिया को हरा-भरा करेंगे।
लेकिन एक छोटा सा बीज कोने में चुपचाप बैठा था। दूसरे बीजों ने पूछा, “तू इतना चुप क्यों है? क्या तू पेड़ नहीं बनना चाहता?”
नन्हे बीज ने धीरे से कहा, “मुझे डर लगता है। मिट्टी के नीचे अंधेरा होगा, बारिश आएगी तो गल जाऊँगा, और अगर मैं पेड़ बन भी गया तो क्या कोई मुझे देखेगा?”
बड़े बीज हँसे, “अगर तू कोशिश नहीं करेगा, तो तुझे कभी पता नहीं चलेगा कि तू क्या बन सकता है।”
कुछ दिनों बाद किसान आया और सारे बीजों को खेतों में बो दिया। बारिश आई, धूप निकली, और धीरे-धीरे सभी बीज अंकुरित हो गए।
वो नन्हा बीज भी मिट्टी के अंदर डरते-डरते बढ़ने लगा। उसे अब भी डर लगता था, लेकिन हर दिन वो थोड़ा और ऊपर बढ़ता।
कुछ महीनों में वह बीज एक छोटा सा पौधा बन गया। उसे अब भरोसा होने लगा कि डर को पार किया जा सकता है।
साल भर बाद वही छोटा पौधा सबसे सुंदर फूलों वाला पेड़ बन गया। पक्षी उस पर बैठते, बच्चे उसकी छांव में खेलते, और सब लोग उसकी तारीफ़ करते।
अब वह नन्हा बीज मुस्कराता हुआ कहता,
“अगर मैंने अपने डर को नहीं हराया होता, तो मैं कभी पेड़ नहीं बन पाता।”
सीख (Moral):
डर लगना ठीक है, लेकिन अगर हम कोशिश करें और हार न मानें, तो हम कुछ भी बन सकते हैं।

बचपन में हम सभी कहानियाँ सुनते हैं जो हमें सिखाती हैं कि हिम्मत, मेहनत और विश्वास से जीवन में कुछ भी संभव है। जादू जैसी एक झटके में मिलने वाली चीजें बहुत काम हुआ करती हैं, हमें इन पर बहुत ज्यादा आश्रित नहीं रहना चाहिए। बच्चों के मन को छू लेने वाली कहानियाँ उनके जीवन मूल्यों की नींव रखती हैं। यह कहानी एक ऐसे छोटे बीज की है, जिसने डर को हराकर खुद को साबित किया और पूरी दुनिया को यह सिखाया कि सोच अगर बड़ी हो, तो आकार मायने नहीं रखता। सपने वो ही सच हो पाते हैं जिन्हें हम सच करने के लिए जी तोड़ परिश्रम करते हैं।
खेत में रखे बीज
एक हरे-भरे गाँव में, जहाँ चारों ओर पेड़, पौधे, चिड़ियाँ और मीठी हवा थी, एक किसान रहता था। वह बड़ा ही मेहनती और समझदार था। हर साल वह अपने खेत में नए बीज बोता, जिनसे हरे-भरे पेड़, फूल और फल निकलते।
एक दिन वह गाँव की मंडी से तरह-तरह के बीज लाया और उन्हें अपने खेत के एक कोने में रख दिया।
उन बीजों में एक बहुत छोटा सा बीज भी था। इतना छोटा कि बाकी बीज उसे “नन्हा” कहकर चिढ़ाते थे।
सपने और डर
सभी बीज आपस में बात कर रहे थे—
“मैं आम का पेड़ बनूँगा, मीठे फल दूँगा।”
“मैं नीम का पेड़ बनूँगा, दवा बनूँगा।”
“मैं छायादार बरगद बनूँगा, लोग मेरी छांव में आराम करेंगे।”
लेकिन कोने में बैठा नन्हा बीज चुप था।
एक बड़े बीज ने पूछा, “तू कुछ नहीं बोलेगा? तेरे सपने क्या हैं?”
नन्हा बीज बोला,
“मुझे डर लगता है। अगर मुझे मिट्टी में दबा दिया गया, और मैं वहीं सड़ गया तो? अगर बारिश ने मुझे बहा दिया, या धूप ने सुखा दिया तो?”
बाकी बीज हँस दिए।
“डर के आगे कुछ नहीं मिलता! तू कभी पेड़ नहीं बन पाएगा।”
धरती के नीचे की दुनिया
कुछ दिन बाद किसान ने सभी बीज खेत में बो दिए। सब बीज मिट्टी के नीचे चले गए — अंधेरा, सन्नाटा और नमी से भरी दुनिया।
नन्हा बीज काँप रहा था।
“यहाँ तो कुछ दिखता ही नहीं! मैं यहाँ कैसे रहूँगा?”
फिर उसे किसी ने धीरे से कहा,
“डर मत। यही जीवन की शुरुआत है।”
वह आवाज मिट्टी की नमी थी — जो बीजों को जीवन देती है।
बारिश की बूँदें भी आईं और सूरज की हल्की गर्मी भी। अब वह बीज थोड़ा सहज हुआ।
अंकुरण का पहला प्रयास
कई दिन बीत गए। फिर एक दिन नन्हे बीज ने अपने अंदर कुछ अजीब सा महसूस किया। मानो वो टूट रहा हो।
“क्या मैं खत्म हो रहा हूँ?” उसने घबराकर सोचा।
लेकिन तभी मिट्टी से एक छोटी सी हरि रेखा बाहर आई — वह उसका पहला अंकुर था।
“मैं बढ़ रहा हूँ!” नन्हा बीज चौंक गया।
धीरे-धीरे, वह मिट्टी को चीरते हुए ऊपर आने लगा। उसे अब भी डर लगता था, लेकिन हर दिन वह थोड़ी हिम्मत जुटाकर आगे बढ़ता।
उजाले से पहली मुलाकात
फिर एक दिन उसकी आँखों के सामने चमकदार रोशनी आई — सूरज की पहली किरण।
“यह क्या है? कितना उजला और सुंदर है!” उसने सोचा।
वह अब एक छोटा सा पौधा बन चुका था। उसके आसपास और भी अंकुर निकल चुके थे। लेकिन सभी हैरान थे कि सबसे छोटा बीज, जो सबसे डरा हुआ था — वह भी अब उजाले में मुस्करा रहा था।
समय और सहनशीलता
मौसम बदले। कभी धूप, कभी बारिश, कभी आंधी और कभी सर्दी — लेकिन नन्हा पौधा हर मौसम को सहता रहा। उसका डर अब भरोसे में बदल गया था।
उसने सोचा:
“अगर मैं ठहर गया होता, तो शायद मैं आज यहाँ न होता।”
धीरे-धीरे उसमें पत्तियाँ आईं, फिर शाखाएँ और फिर कुछ सुंदर फूल। गाँव के बच्चे उस पौधे को देखकर खुश होते, तितलियाँ मंडरातीं और चिड़ियाँ गीत गातीं।
एक बड़ा पेड़
कुछ वर्षों बाद वही नन्हा बीज अब एक बड़ा पेड़ बन चुका था। हरे पत्तों, रंग-बिरंगे फूलों और मीठे फलों से भरा हुआ।
गाँव के लोग उसकी छांव में बैठते, बच्चे खेलते, पक्षी उन पेड़ों के ऊपर बसेरा करते।
और वह पेड़ सोचता —
“अगर मैंने अपने डर को जीतने की हिम्मत न की होती, तो मैं कभी इतना बड़ा न बनता।”
इस कहानी से क्या सीख मिली?
यह कहानी हमें सिखाती है कि:
- डर सबको लगता है, लेकिन जो डर के बावजूद कदम बढ़ाता है, वही आगे बढ़ता है।
- छोटे आकार से फर्क नहीं पड़ता, बड़ी सोच ही असली ताकत है।
- सफलता धीरे-धीरे मिलती है — धैर्य और विश्वास से।

TRANSLATION INTO ENGLISH LANGUAGE
In childhood, we all hear stories that teach us that with courage, hard work and faith, anything is possible in life. Things like magic that come in a jiffy are very rare, we should not depend on them too much. Stories that touch the minds of children lay the foundation of their life values. This story is about a small seed, which proved itself by defeating fear and taught the whole world that if the thinking is big, then size does not matter. Only those dreams come true which we work hard to make true.
Seeds kept in the field
In a lush green village, where there were trees, plants, birds and sweet air all around, a farmer lived. He was very hardworking and intelligent. Every year he sowed new seeds in his field, which produced lush green trees, flowers and fruits.
One day he brought different types of seeds from the village market and kept them in a corner of his field.
There was also a very small seed among those seeds. So small that the other seeds used to tease him by calling him “Nanha”.
Dreams and fears
All the seeds were talking to each other –
“I will become a mango tree, I will give sweet fruits.”
“I will become a neem tree, I will become a medicine.”
“I will become a shady banyan tree, people will rest in my shade.”
But the small seed sitting in the corner was silent.
A big seed asked, “Won’t you say anything? What are your dreams?”
The small seed said,
“I am afraid. What if I am buried in the soil, and I rot there? What if the rain washes me away, or the sun dries me up?”
The other seeds laughed.
“Nothing is gained over fear! You will never become a tree.”
The world beneath the earth
After a few days, the farmer sowed all the seeds in the field. All the seeds went beneath the soil – a world full of darkness, silence and moisture.
The small seed was trembling.
“I can’t see anything here! How will I survive here?”
Then someone softly told him,
“Don’t be afraid. This is the beginning of life.”
That voice was the moisture of the soil – which gives life to seeds.
The raindrops also came and so did the mild warmth of the sun. Now the seed felt a little comfortable.
First attempt at germination
Many days passed. Then one day the little seed felt something strange inside it. As if it was breaking.
“Am I dying?” it thought nervously.
But then a small green line came out of the soil – it was its first sprout.
“I am growing!” The little seed was startled.
Slowly, it started coming up, tearing through the soil. It was still afraid, but every day it gathered a little courage and moved forward.
First encounter with light
Then one day a bright light came in front of its eyes – the first ray of the sun.
“What is this? How bright and beautiful!” he thought.
It had now become a small plant. More sprouts had sprouted around it. But everyone was surprised that the smallest seed, which was the most scared — was now smiling in the light.
Time and Patience
The seasons changed. Sometimes sunshine, sometimes rain, sometimes storm and sometimes cold — but the little plant endured every season. Its fear had now turned into confidence.
It thought:
“If I had stayed, perhaps I would not have been here today.”
Slowly it grew leaves, then branches and then some beautiful flowers. The children of the village would be happy to see that plant, butterflies would flutter and birds would sing.
A big tree
After a few years, the same little seed had now become a big tree. Full of green leaves, colorful flowers and sweet fruits.
The people of the village would sit in its shade, children would play, birds would nest on top of those trees.
And that tree thought –
“If I had not had the courage to overcome my fear, I would never have become so big.”
What did we learn from this story?
This story teaches us that:
Everyone feels fear, but only the one who takes a step forward despite fear moves forward.
Small size does not matter, big thinking is the real power.
Success is achieved slowly – with patience and faith.
