दिखने में थे सरल बड़े पर थे अद्भुत उनके विचार
राष्ट्रनायक डॉ. कलाम को जग कर रहा नमस्कार
अंधेरों में बन कर उजाला वो काम देश के आए
नित्य नए खोज करके सारी दुनिया को दिखलाए।
मिला उसे उतना केवल जितना जो इंतजार किया
कोशिश करने वाले देते छोड़ ये व्यक्त विचार किया
नामुमकिन नहीं कुछ भी लक्ष्य हृदय में यदि प्रबल हो
चमकेगा वो हीरा बन कर अमीर हो या फिर निर्बल हो।
इंजीनियर, वैज्ञानिक, शिक्षक बनकर रचे कीर्तिमान
सपनों को सच करके उन्होंने छू लिए सारा आसमान
पोखरण परीक्षण कर परमाणु का भारत को दी शक्ति
देश ताकतवर बना थी उनकी सोच व कूटनीति युक्ति
मिसाइल मैन ऑफ इंडिया रक्षा क्षेत्र में है नाम बड़ा
अग्नि और आकाश मिसाइल रक्षा में है आज खड़ा
बच्चे, बूढ़े, युवा हर पीढ़ी का उनसे गहरा नाता था
जिसे लालसा सुझाव की वो ज्ञान भी उनसे पाता था
बन कर भारत के राष्ट्रपति की देश की सेवा भरपूर
सादा जीवन जीते थे न था कोई उनकी पहुंच से दूर
डॉ. ए. पी. जे. अब्दुल कलाम गौरव थे इस देश का

डॉ. ए. पी. जे. अब्दुल कलाम भारतीय गणराज्य के 11वें राष्ट्रपति रहे और उन्हें “जनता के राष्ट्रपति” के रूप में जाना जाता है। उनका जीवन, उनकी उपलब्धियाँ और उनके विचार युवाओं के लिए प्रेरणा का स्रोत बने हैं। उनका जन्म 15 अक्टूबर 1931 को तमिलनाडु के रामेश्वरम में एक साधारण मुस्लिम परिवार में हुआ था। उनके पिता का नाम जैनुलाब्दीन था, जो एक नाविक थे, और माता का नाम आशियम्मा था, जो एक गृहिणी थीं।
डॉ. कलाम ने अपनी प्रारंभिक शिक्षा रामेश्वरम में प्राप्त की और फिर उच्च शिक्षा के लिए मद्रास इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज में दाखिला लिया। वे एक साधारण विद्यार्थी थे, लेकिन उनकी जिज्ञासा और मेहनत ने उन्हें एक सफल इंजीनियर और वैज्ञानिक बना दिया। अपनी पढ़ाई के दौरान, उन्होंने कई कठिनाइयों का सामना किया, लेकिन उन्होंने कभी हार नहीं मानी।
डॉ. कलाम ने भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन (ISRO) और रक्षा अनुसंधान एवं विकास संगठन (DRDO) में काम किया। उन्हें “मिसाइल मैन” के नाम से भी जाना जाता है क्योंकि उन्होंने भारतीय मिसाइल कार्यक्रम को विकसित करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई। उनके नेतृत्व में, भारत ने कई सफल मिसाइलों का परीक्षण किया, जिसमें अग्नि और पृथ्वी मिसाइल शामिल हैं।
डॉ. कलाम का सपना था कि भारत एक विकसित देश बने। उन्होंने युवाओं को प्रेरित करने के लिए “विजन 2020” की योजना तैयार की, जिसमें उन्होंने सुझाव दिया कि भारत को विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी में अग्रणी बनना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा, “सपने वो नहीं जो हम सोते समय देखते हैं, सपने वो हैं जो हमें सोने नहीं देते।”

उनकी आत्मकथा “विंग्स ऑफ फायर” ने लाखों लोगों को प्रेरित किया है। इस पुस्तक में उन्होंने अपने जीवन के अनुभवों, संघर्षों और सफलताओं को साझा किया है।
डॉ. कलाम का निधन 27 जुलाई 2015 को शिलांग में हुआ, लेकिन उनके विचार और शिक्षाएं आज भी लोगों को प्रेरित कर रही हैं। उन्हें न केवल एक वैज्ञानिक और राष्ट्रपति के रूप में बल्कि एक शिक्षक और मार्गदर्शक के रूप में याद किया जाता है।
उनका जीवन हमें सिखाता है कि मेहनत, लगन और समर्पण से हम किसी भी लक्ष्य को प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। डॉ. ए. पी. जे. अब्दुल कलाम का नाम भारतीय इतिहास में हमेशा अमिट रहेगा, और वे हमेशा युवा पीढ़ी के लिए प्रेरणा का स्रोत बने रहेंगे।

He served the country to the fullest by becoming the President of India
He lived a simple life, no one was beyond his reach

Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam: An Inspiration
Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam was the 11th President of the Republic of India and is known as the “People’s President”. His life, his achievements and his thoughts have become a source of inspiration for the youth. He was born on 15 October 1931 in a simple Muslim family in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu. His father’s name was Jainulabdeen, who was a sailor, and mother’s name was Ashiamma, who was a housewife.
Dr. Kalam received his early education in Rameswaram and then joined Madras Engineering College for higher education. He was an average student, but his curiosity and hard work made him a successful engineer and scientist. During his studies, he faced many difficulties, but he never gave up.
Dr. Kalam worked in the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO). He is also known as the “Missile Man” as he played a key role in developing the Indian missile program. Under his leadership, India tested several successful missiles, including the Agni and Prithvi missiles.
Dr Kalam dreamed of India becoming a developed country. He formulated the plan “Vision 2020” to inspire the youth, in which he suggested that India should become a leader in science and technology. He said, “Dreams are not what we see while sleeping, dreams are those which do not let us sleep.”
In 2002, he was elected the President of India. During his tenure, he participated in many programs to inspire the youth of the nation. He always emphasized on education and scientific thinking. His thoughts filled a new energy and enthusiasm in the students of the country.
Dr. Kalam believed that the purpose of education is not only to gain knowledge but also to make a good human being. He always valued simplicity and humility in his life. His work and thoughts are still alive in the hearts of people.
His autobiography “Wings of Fire” has inspired millions of people. In this book, he has shared his life experiences, struggles and successes.
Dr. Kalam died on 27 July 2015 in Shillong, but his thoughts and teachings are still inspiring people. He is remembered not only as a scientist and President but also as a teacher and guide.
His life teaches us that with hard work, perseverance and dedication, we can achieve any goal. Dr. A. P.J. Abdul Kalam’s name will always remain indelible in Indian history, and he will always be a source of inspiration for the younger generation.
