चाँद पर खोया खिलौना
रात का समय था, आसमान तारों से भरा हुआ था और चाँद अपनी पूरी रौशनी में आसमान में चमक रहा था। छोटे बच्चों की दुनिया में चाँद कोई आम खगोलीय पिंड नहीं होता — वह उनका दोस्त, उनका सपना और कई कहानियों का नायक होता है। ऐसी ही एक कहानी है एक छोटे बच्चे “राजू” की, जिसने चाँद पर अपना सबसे प्यारा खिलौना खो दिया…
राजू एक 7 साल का नटखट बच्चा था जो गाँव के एक छोटे से घर में अपने माता-पिता के साथ रहता था। उसकी सबसे प्यारी चीज़ थी एक छोटा सा रोबोट जैसा खिलौना जिसका नाम उसने “टिकू” रखा था। टिकू उसके साथ खाता, खेलता और सोता भी था। जब भी राजू उदास होता, वह टिकू को देख मुस्कुरा देता।
राजू की सबसे बड़ी आदत थी — रात को छत पर लेटकर चाँद को देखना और उससे बातें करना।
“चाँद मामा, कभी तो नीचे आओ ना। मैं तुम्हें टिकू से मिलवाऊँगा,” वह कहता।
एक रात उसने माँ से पूछा,
“माँ, क्या टिकू को मैं चाँद पर ले जा सकता हूँ?”
माँ मुस्कराकर बोली, “सपनों में कुछ भी मुमकिन है बेटा। सो जाओ, और चाँद पर घूम आओ।”
उसी रात राजू को अजीब सा सपना आया। एक उजली सी सीढ़ी उसके घर की छत से चाँद तक जा रही थी। उसने टिकू को गोद में उठाया और बिना डरे चढ़ गया।
जब वह चाँद पर पहुँचा, तो देखा कि वहाँ एक सुंदर सा शहर बसा हुआ है — दूधिया रंग की इमारतें, चमकते पत्थर और चारों ओर एक अजीब सी शांति। वहाँ के लोग भी अजीब थे — छोटे-छोटे गोल चेहरे, लंबी गर्दनें और बड़ी-बड़ी आँखें। वे सब राजू को देखकर मुस्कराए।
एक एलियन बच्चा उसके पास आया और बोला,
“क्या ये तुम्हारा टिकू है?”
राजू हैरान हो गया,
“हाँ! तुम्हें कैसे पता?”
एलियन बच्चा बोला, “हम चाँद की दुनिया में बच्चों के सपनों को देखते हैं। राजू तुम्हारा टिकू बहुत प्यारा है!”
राजू और एलियन बच्चों के बीच दोस्ती हो गई। उन्होंने मिलकर चाँद की धरती पर क्रिकेट खेला, उछल-उछलकर भागे और टिकू को उड़ाकर नई चीजें दिखाईं।
खेलते-खेलते राजू थक गया और एक चाँदी की चट्टान पर बैठ गया। तभी उसने देखा — टिकू कहीं दिखाई नहीं दे रहा था! वह घबरा गया।
“टिकू! टिकू! कहाँ हो?” राजू चिल्लाने लगा।
एलियन बच्चों ने भी ढूंढा, पर टिकू कहीं नहीं मिला।
राजू की आँखों में आँसू आ गए,
“टिकू मेरा सबसे अच्छा दोस्त है… मैं उसके बिना कैसे रहूँगा?”
एलियन बच्चा बोला,
“चाँद पर कोई चीज़ खो नहीं जाती, वो किसी नए सफर पर निकल जाती है। शायद टिकू को कोई ज़रूरतमंद मिला हो।”
चाँद की रानी
तभी एक रोशनी सी चमकी और चाँद की रानी वहाँ प्रकट हुई। उसका चेहरा चमकता था, और उसके बाल चाँद की किरणों से बने थे।
“राजू,” रानी ने कहा,
“टिकू को एक छोटे से बच्चे की ज़रूरत थी जो बहुत अकेला था। वह चाँद के अंधेरे हिस्से में रहता है। तुम्हारा टिकू अब उसका साथी है।”
राजू चुप हो गया। रानी ने आगे कहा,
“लेकिन तुम्हारी भावना इतनी सच्ची थी कि हम तुम्हें एक नई चीज़ देना चाहते हैं — अपने सपनों को सच में बदलने की ताक़त!”
रानी ने एक चमकदार बीज राजू को दिया,
“इसे अपने दिल में लगाओ। यह तुम्हारे सपनों को असलियत में बदलने का रास्ता दिखाएगा।”
नींद से जागना
सुबह की पहली किरण के साथ राजू की नींद खुली। वह अपने बिस्तर पर था, लेकिन टिकू नहीं था। पहले उसे लगा कि जो कुछ भी उसने पिछली रात देखा था वो सब कुछ महज़ एक सपना था… लेकिन फिर उसने देखा — उसके तकिये के नीचे वही चमकदार बीज रखा था!
उसकी आँखों में चमक आ गई।
“टिकू चला गया, लेकिन वो किसी और की खुशी का कारण बना है और मुझे अब अपने सपनों को सच करने की ज़िम्मेदारी मिली है!”
एक नया सफर
समय बीतता गया, राजू बड़ा होता गया। उसने विज्ञान में रुचि ली, अंतरिक्ष और चाँद पर रिसर्च करने लगा। वह हमेशा कहता था —
“सपनों को कभी छोटा मत समझो, वो तुम्हें चाँद तक भी ले जा सकते हैं।”
सालों बाद, एक भारतीय अंतरिक्ष मिशन में वैज्ञानिकों की एक टीम चाँद पर गई। उस टीम का नेतृत्व कर रहा था — डॉ. राजू मिश्रा।
और जब वह चाँद की सतह पर पहुँचा, वहाँ एक छोटे गड्ढे के पास उसे कुछ दिखा — मिट्टी में दबा एक छोटा सा रोबोट… टिकू!
सीख और संदेश:
इस कहानी से हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि सच्ची भावना, कल्पना और हिम्मत मिलकर कुछ भी संभव बना सकते हैं। चाहे कोई चीज़ हमसे दूर क्यों न हो जाए, वह किसी न किसी के जीवन में रोशनी बन सकती है।

TRANSLATION INTO ENGLISH LANGUAGE
It was night time, the sky was full of stars and the moon was shining in its full light. In the world of small children, the moon is not an ordinary celestial body – it is their friend, their dream and the hero of many stories. One such story is of a small child “Raju”, who lost his most beloved toy on the moon…
Raju was a naughty 7-year-old child who lived with his parents in a small house in the village. His most beloved thing was a small robot-like toy which he named “Tiku”. Tiku used to eat, play and sleep with it. Whenever Raju was sad, he would smile looking at Tiku.
Raju’s biggest habit was to lie on the roof at night and look at the moon and talk to it.
“Uncle Moon, please come down sometime. I will introduce you to Tiku,” he would say.
One night he asked his mother,
“Mom, can I take Tiku to the moon?”
Mother smiled and said, “Anything is possible in dreams, son. Go to sleep and visit the moon.”
That very night Raju had a strange dream. A bright staircase was going from the roof of his house to the moon. He took Tiku in his lap and climbed it without any fear.
When he reached the moon, he saw that there was a beautiful city there – milky white buildings, shining stones and a strange peace all around. The people there were also strange – small round faces, long necks and big eyes. They all smiled at Raju.
An alien child came to him and said,
“Is this your Tiku?”
Raju was surprised,
“Yes! How do you know?”
The alien child said, “We see the dreams of children in the world of the moon. Raju, your Tiku is very cute!”
Raju and the alien children became friends. Together they played cricket on the moon, jumped and ran around and showed Tiku new things by flying him.
Raju got tired of playing and sat down on a silver rock. Then he saw that Tiku was nowhere to be seen! He got scared.
“Tiku! Tiku! Where are you?” Raju started shouting.
The alien kids also searched for him, but Tiku was nowhere to be found.
Raju’s eyes filled with tears,
“Tiku is my best friend… how will I live without him?”
The alien kid said,
“Nothing gets lost on the moon, it goes on a new journey. Maybe Tiku has found someone in need.”
The Queen of the Moon
Just then a light flashed and the Queen of the Moon appeared there. Her face was shining, and her hair was made of moon rays.
“Raju,” said the queen,
“Tiku was a little child in need who was very lonely. He lives on the dark side of the moon. Your Tiku is now his companion.”
Raju fell silent. The queen continued,
“But your feelings were so genuine that we want to give you something new — the power to turn your dreams into reality!”
The queen gave Raju a glowing seed,
“Plant it in your heart. It will show the way to turn your dreams into reality.”
Waking up
With the first rays of the morning, Raju woke up. He was on his bed, but Tiku was not. At first he thought that everything he had seen the previous night was just a dream… but then he saw — the same glowing seed was lying under his pillow!
His eyes lit up.
“Tiku is gone, but he has become the reason for someone else’s happiness and I have now got the responsibility to make my dreams come true!”
A new journey
As time passed, Raju grew up. He took interest in science, started researching on space and the moon. He always used to say –
“Never underestimate dreams, they can take you to the moon.”
Years later, a team of scientists went to the moon in an Indian space mission. That team was led by – Dr. Raju Mishra.
And when he reached the surface of the moon, there near a small crater, he saw something – a small robot buried in the soil… Tiku!

From this story, we learn that true emotion, imagination and courage together can make anything possible. Even if something goes away from us, it can become a light in someone’s life.
